iGarten offers a comprehensive tool for identifying garden plants and gaining in-depth knowledge about them. It supports users in selecting appropriate flora for residential and landscape projects by providing detailed profiles on over 3,400 plant species, accompanied by more than 24,000 images. The app ensures access to this information any time, even offline.
For example, if you are planning a semi-shaded garden border with a blue and white color scheme, iGarten can generate customized plant selections based on your specific criteria.
The application allows users to view information in list format or as a flowering calendar. Saved selections can be stored within collections or exported as PDF documents for convenience.

iGarten serves horticulture students, landscape professionals, facility managers, and maintenance personnel by offering a training mode to practice plant identification skills. Users can select specific groups like "herbaceous perennials" or "ornamental grasses," or customize training collections within the app.

The data provided is applicable to the warm temperate zone of the Northern Hemisphere but may vary regionally.
The app is free to download; however, full access to all plant data requires a subscription. The subscription supports unlimited app usage and funds ongoing development and maintenance.
